Detonating Cord
Description: Britacord® is a family of high explosive detonating cords that has a minimum detonation velocity of 22,300 ft/s (6,800 m/s). Britacord® comes in core loads ranging from 18 gr/ft (3.6 g/m) to 500 gr/ft (100 g/m). It is detonator sensitive (#8 strength or greater) and can be used to directly initiate additional detonating cord, KINEPAK® binary, dynamite, boosters, and non-electric products like non-electric detonators, shocktube and Thermotube®.

The cord comes in several colors to help immediately identify the core load of the product at a glance.
Britacord® has the date code and amount of product remaining on the reel printed directly on the cord at one meter intervals. This makes it easy to meet ATF inventory tracking requirements when storing product that has been partially used.
All of the sizes come in the same size box to make storing a variety of cord sizes very neat and orderly.
Britacord® can be transported unplacarded if the amount and core load meet DOT requirements.
